+هذه هي مدونة <a href="http://www.britishcouncil.org/dreams.htm">أحلام الجماعة</a> على إنترنت: المساحة التي يقوم فيها طلائع القادة من مصر والعالم بالعمل معا. المدونات هي الموجة القادمة في عالم النشر على إنترنت، وأنتم باشتراككم في التدوين ستصبحون على قمة هذه الموجة. فكروا فيها كدار نشر مخصصة لكم.

+دعونا نبدأ قبل أي شيء بتقديم أنفسنا. سمحت لي الفرص على مدى العامين الماضيين--وهي المدة التي عملت فيها مع أحلام الجماعة--أن أعرف بعضكم بشكل أكثر شخصية من البعض الآخر، وأرغب في معرفة المزيد عنكم جميعا. اسمي عمرو غربية. درست العلوم الإدارية وتخصصت في إدارة البنوك. عملت <a href="http://www.proz.com/pro/41908">مترجما حرا</a> منذ أن كنت طالبا، في أحلام الجماعة ومشروعات أخرى يديرها <a href="http://www.britishcouncil.org/egypt">المجلس البريطاني</a>، وأيضا مع جهات مختلفة في مصر وخارجها. عملت أيضا <a href="http://www.goethe.de/ins/eg/kai/inz/bib/arindex.htm">أمين مكتبة</a> لبعض الوقت، ولا زالت لي علاقات بمجال النشر (<a href="http://www.cibf.org/ar/index.cfm/">معرض الكتاب</a> على الأبواب!)، كما أمارس بعض الأنشطة التطوعية في مجالات البيئة، والشباب، و<a href="http://ar.wikipedia.org">تنظيم المعرفة</a>، ومؤخرا جدا بدأت في إجراءات إشهار منظمة غير حكومية توفر التسهيلات اللوجستية--مكان، ومعدات، واتصالات...--لمساعدة الأفراد الفاعلين في المجتمع، كطلائع القادة مثلا.

+أسافر كثيرا في أنحاء مصر، إلى أماكن غير مألوفة في الغالب: منطقة الجبال العليا في سيناء، والصحارى شرق وغرب وادي النيل، والنوبة القديمة جنوب أسوان، وأعود بالعديد من القصص والصور والأفكار التي تساعدني على تصور ما أرغب في إفادة مجتمعي به.

+Hello! This is the <a href="http://www.britishcouncil.org/dreams.htm/">Dreams and Teams</a> Blog, a space where Young Leaders from Egypt and around the world work together. Blogs are the next big thing in Internet publishing. By blogging here, you will be on top of this new wave. Think of it as your "own publishing house".
+
+Before anything else, let us begin by introducing ourselves. During the last two years, since I started working with D+T, I had a few opportunities to get to know some of you on a more personal level, and I would love to get to know you all better. My name is Amr Gharbeia. I have a bachelor in Management Sciences, with a few extra credits in banking. I have been working as a <a href="http://www.proz.com/pro/41908">freelance translator</a> since I was a student, and have been associated with D+T and other <a href="http://www.britishcouncil.org/egypt">British Council</a> projects, also with numerous organisations inside and outside Egypt. I worked as a part-time <a href="http://www.goethe.de/ins/eg/kai/inz/bib/arindex.htm">assistant librarian</a>, and have relations with the publishing industry in Egypt (the <a href="http://www.cibf.org/en/index.cfm/">book fair</a> is coming this month!). I am also an active volunteer in the fields of environment, youth, content management; and very recently, we started the procedures to start an NGO that would work as a venue and provide logistical support (room, equipment, and communications...) to assist active members in the community, the Young Leaders for example.

+I do a lot of traveling around Egypt, mostly to remote places: the Sinai High Mountain Region, the deserts East and West of the Nile Valley, and the Old Nubia south of Aswan, and come back with load of stories, photographs, and ideas that help me picture how I am going to contribute to my community.

+There is a lot We can do in D+T besides sports festivals. This is something to discuss with Young Leader from different parts of the world later this summer in Sharm.
