Overview

Today saw the complete architectural transformation of the Memex into a high-integrity Personal Software Foundry (PSF) following the "Code as Thought" mandate.

Accomplishments

1. Knowledge Management Integrity

  • Inbox Partitioning Cleanup: Verified and marked encoding issues as DONE for the newly partitioned inbox files.
  • Metadata Audit: Performed a systematic audit of ~1,300 entries missing the mandatory :CREATED: property; recorded this as a high-priority task for the KM Standards project.

2. "Code as Thought" Architecture

  • Skill Formalization: Successfully refactored all 33 agent skills into Universal Literate Notes.
  • Unified Source of Truth: Moved literate Org sources (PRD, PROTOCOL, IMPLEMENTATION) into `notes/` using kebab-case filenames (e.g., `notes/org-skill-memex-manager.org`).
  • Material Realization: Established standard PSF project folders in `projects/` for tangled source code, tests, and documentation.
  • System Actuation: Replaced all hard-coded skill files in `system/skills/` with symbolic links to the unified notes, ensuring real-time execution of literate thoughts.

3. PSF Consensus Loop Implementation

  • Formalized Roles: Established dedicated projects for the core PSF roles:

    • Architect Agent: Transforming Demand into Blueprint.
    • Technical Analyst Agent: Transforming Blueprint into Success (TDD).
    • Project Foundry Agent: Scaffolding high-integrity workspaces.
    • Scribe Agent: Automated distillation and mandate auditing.

4. Advanced "Foundry Native" Features

  • Headless OAuth 2.0: Implemented professional Google/Gemini authentication with refresh token support and a headless "Copy-Paste" handshake.
  • Onboarding & Calibration: Developed an interactive environment verification and setup script.
  • PSF Loop Automator: Established a meta-cognitive skill that autonomously triggers Architect and Analyst roles based on note status.
  • Sparse Tree Perceiver: Optimized memory retrieval with a two-stage scan/read process, significantly reducing token usage and improving accuracy.
  • Foundry-Sync (GTD Bridge): Automated the mirroring of project engineering states (Phase A-F) from Zettelkasten notes to gtd.org.

5. High-Integrity Verification (Consensus Loop Closure)

  • Recursive Safety Harness: Verified the AST validator against nested malicious code (Phase C/E).
  • Object Store Persistence: Verified Lisp-native serialization fidelity for instant recall (Phase C/E).
  • Autonomous Performance Auditor: Verified failure rate detection and RCA triggering logic (Phase C/E).
  • Sub-Agent Manager: Verified non-blocking thread spawning and context isolation (Phase C/E).

Current System State

  • Architecture: 100% PSF Compliant (Literate, Kebab-case, Lisp-native state).
  • Core Stability: Kernel hardened with incremental perception, symbolic safety gating, and parallel cognitive threads.
  • Next Steps: Begin mass metadata repair using the new inference logic.
