** Which Species Is This?

Here's a bird that looks like it's found its Halloween costume already. In=
 reality=2C this male is probably displaying for a nearby female by leanin=
g forward and extending its ruff=2C or neck feathers. This species is comm=
on year-round throughout Mexico=2C and by Halloween=2C most individuals wi=
ll have departed south from their breeding range in the extreme southweste=
