  1. PI has to review and amend the contract with you. I will do so by speaking with the Trustees further about your situation and what we want to accomplish. I need their sign off on this. We can then get back to you by the end of November.

(13:21:42) Eva Blum-Dumontet: 2. For the purpose of this contract, if you could describe in less than three paragraphs what you have been doing this year in areas relating to the domain of this project, i.e. coming to London for our workshop, liaising with NGOs and others, translating the call for tenders, meetings with Embassies and others regarding the UPR, engaging with media, and even the digital security training etc you have been doing, and conversations with Eva on investigations; this actually makes it quite a bit easier to justify the financial and legal situation.

(13:22:05) Amr Gharbeia: OK

(13:22:30) Eva Blum-Dumontet: 3. We need you to just help Eva on the State of Surveillance briefing. This will not require much of your time so please don't see this as a burden that you must deliver upon but instead see it as somehting we are workling to deliver and you are merely supporting us.

(13:22:50) Amr Gharbeia: Thanks Eva for doing this :)

(13:24:06) Eva Blum-Dumontet: 4. From a financial perspective, if you could just in two lines explain to us that you are taking the money as salary, admin and any other articulable costs that you have incurred, that would really help us. We are checking the account information but we really don't think much is needed as explanations. GIve us a second — Alex is checking her records.

[Alex checked, and verified that the funds could be entirely justified as salary, or you could also state it is used for tech, travel, etc. It really is up to you as you know best what you have been doing.]
