Here's a few things to consider when buying a narrowboat:
~ Have you had experience on a boat? Taking some time to test the waters m=
ight be helpful to really see if getting aboard is for you.
~ When buying=2C you can choose an off-the-peg boat or a bespoke design=2C=
depending on your imagination or your budget.
~ Choose your boatbuilder carefully - see our exhibitors at Crick - and ha=
ve a list of your requirements ready so you can discuss your ideas.
~ Check your budget and make sure you are considering options that match y=
our financial situation.
~ If you would like to consider buying a second-hand boat=2C almost all of=
the country's top brokerages selling used canal boats will also be exhibi=
ting at the show.

Many of the boats on show have been built for individual customers so are=
not available to buy=2C which is why they require advance booking. Instea=
d=2C use them as a showcase for the builders' work.

llent boats to live aboard if you think space could be an issue for you.
