On the train to Boston for an Article 19 workshop in Harvard. Essentially being the surrogate brother since [[id:925723d2-cecd-4697-a8a0-790d92f03bfe][Ahmad]] could not get a US visa in time. Not terribly excited about going back to digital security. I hope it is temporary.

I expect the ongoing cashflow crisis to last another year at least for me (current block height 804669). [[id:5e9f6e6a-86c2-4f41-a9f1-3909dc82de29][Nancy]] has been working constantly to resuscitate CIP the past year and a half, and not tirelessly. She managed to grow the organization, recruit Matt Duss and other stars, and raise over two million the past few months. Impressive. We are just going through the motions until the money flows in. Kids arrived yesterday from Cairo. Both have grown beautifully. I am looking forward to years when we are all more relaxed and able to enjoy each other's company more.

My paperwork situation is also much better. Now I have a social security number, a work permit, and an advance parole to re-enter the US. Even the Egyptians gave me a new passport valid for three years. My priorities now are to see my parents in Berlin, spend the least money possible until the next Bitcoin rally, and get a green card. We are one rally away from [[id:724c21a3-0ffb-4521-9031-f23a0c76ea0f][financial security and two from generational wealth]]. It could have been much better if Nancy and I were able to discuss our matters and plan our lives together. I guess it will get easier, and less necessary, as our situation improves. Alas.

I am conflicted about putting effort in the [[id:2fa753af-d8b1-4ef0-b7bb-ee951aac3106][Egypt Foundation]]. Egypt seems to be stirring up again, and it is something I can do without much thinking, but it is rather difficult working with Egyptians and keeping attached to the country while I am trying to put roots here. I'd rather be working on my current [[id:7085168d-8607-4d83-8ec0-2298f33e4a9c][book project]], my [[id:6f9d2f43-cdaa-49c3-b86b-d5e7a3c21caa][computers setup]], my [[id:e720241c-c035-4200-a24f-840007d01323][archive]], and learning. These are the real things we will rely on in the near future.

As I sit on this train and get a moment for myself and away from the noise of Wisconsin Place, I realize how much more happy and productive I could be. I am good at waiting.
